Why does this differ from the bag's table?
Bag tables assume an intact adult with average activity. Neutering cuts the requirement by 20–30%, which makes the bag's recommendation too generous.
How do I know the weight is right?
Ribs should be easy to feel under light pressure without being visible, and the waist should show from above. That is body condition score 4–5 out of 9.
How many meals a day?
