A Spontaneous Act of Kindness

The dog lay against a wall, trembling from the cold and total isolation. Felipe realized he could help, even if it meant a small personal sacrifice. Gabriel told The Dodo: „He saw a dog shivering in the cold. It was the coldest day of the year.”

Felipe set his bag down and pulled out the t-shirt under his jacket. He then put his jacket back on. Confused by the scene, Gabriel decided to film his brother. At first, he laughed seeing him undress in public.

„I saw my brother taking off his bag and started filming. He took off his jacket and put the t-shirt on the little one who was very cold. He did it spontaneously. It was very emotional.”

Felipe literally gave the shirt off his back to warm a freezing dog! Later, Gabriel wrote that he was surprised when the video went viral and is glad he decided to share it with the world.

When the brothers returned to the same station on their way back, they searched for the dog Felipe had clothed. They hoped they could take the little one home, but it was no longer there.
